Help people move more comfortably, and live more fully
Hampden Healthcare provides specialist, hands-on physiotherapy for adults with learning disabilities, autism, neurological conditions and complex physical needs across Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties. We are building a network of skilled, caring physiotherapists who work alongside Helen on a flexible, independent basis to bring expert care to more people.
Independent work, with specialist backing
Work on your own terms while being part of a small, specialist practice. You get to know the people you support, their families and their carers, and you have the time to do the job well.
Meaningful impact
Help people stay active, reduce pain and keep their independence for as long as possible. You will see the difference your work makes.
You set your availability
Take on as much or as little as suits you. Whether you have a few spare sessions a week or more, we fit the work around your commitments.
Specialist knowledge on hand
Work with a physiotherapist with over 25 years' experience across the NHS and private practice, and a focus on learning disabilities since 2011.
A supportive network
Independent does not mean isolated. Share cases, ideas and learning with like-minded clinicians who put dignity and respect first.
Where and how you will work
Our care happens where people live and spend their day, including:
- Their own homes and supported living
- Residential and nursing care settings
- Day services, schools and clinics
The work covers assessment, hands-on treatment, 24-hour posture management, advice on seating and equipment, and training for carers and support staff. Working closely with families and care teams is central to everything we do.
Who you will support
- Adults with learning disabilities and autism
- Adults with neurological conditions
- People with complex physical needs
- Older adults, including those living with frailty
- People recovering after illness or a hospital stay
"Everyone deserves to move as comfortably and freely as they can."
